Edwin Jackson Receives “Key To The City”

COLUMBUS (WRBL) – Edwin Jackson’s career could be defined by one phrase, “Never forget where you came from.” Jackson has played in more cities for more teams than any player in Major League Baseball history. But if you ask him, it all started in Columbus, GA, and at Shaw High School.

Jackson came home Friday afternoon to his alma mater, where he was presented with a “key to the city” for his accomplishments throughout his 16-year MLB career and his involvement in giving back to the city of Columbus. You can hear from Jackson and his high school baseball coach Charles Flowers in the video player above.
